Ain't those folks ever heard of pellet rifles? I'd like to try one in a gumbo to see how they taste. If they are edible, all they have to do is run an ad in Louisiana saying there are too many peacocks in Florida and they make a good gumbo. Nuff said, problem solved. When I lived in S.C. a couple of neighbors near me had several Peacocks. Pretty though they are, they're the noisiest and loudest birds I've ever had the misfortune to meet.
