It is right and reasonable that we help the Haitians as much as we can in their time of desperate need - having said that (and meant it), let me answer Willy's question. . .

They bring a willingness to engage in and accept corruption at all levels.
They bring standards of hygiene & cleanliness well below U.S. standards.
They bring a culture of casual dishonesty and a work ethic WAY below that which would be commonly acceptable in the U.S. It is endemic to their culture and simply a common component of their society.

I know, having worked (or tried to work) with many Haitians that live in the Mexican Caribbean and other parts of the region - and their effects and influences in my home town of Miami, Fl.

WE DO NOT NEED more of this kind of immigration into the USA. I fear that our foolish and short-sighted President will attempt to just open the doors wide to any and all who want to flee that desperate country. That would be a serious disservice to the American people.
