You may also take this as evidence that she has no intention of running for Prez.

Kind of smart move if you think about it. She gets to be heard by a huge amount of people without media filters, and when the MSM does try to twist what she says, the video will be online for all to see. Plus the added exposure will not hurt unless she says several really dumb things.

Now that Rick mentions it that way. . . . I take back my pronouncement that she's not going to run -
We'll see -

I thought you might have been a bit shortsighted there Toastie ...
This is definately what she needs. Along with everything Rick said, she'll also become overtly exposed to true internationsl affairs and increase her knowlege in those areas.

Sooooooo, if I get it right, Palin, a likely prospect for the Republican nomination for the next presidential election will be a columnist at Fox News... "Fair and balanced"?
(don't bother with the usual chorus of "that makes up for the rest of the media!" - I know the tune...)
Maybe she'll try to hyptonise the audience, seems to be what she was doing when she was young. :D

PS: I had never really noticed her small problem with eye convergence until I found this pic. I know... who cares?

I never said that was a problem... at least not for me! It's just that I had never noticed it before, that's all.
Actually, to be honest, I was a bit curious to see who would bite and jump to the "obviously" negative interpretation. ;)
Snuffy

That wasn't an "'obviously' negative interpretation".
I never said that it was a negative interpretation, I was just asking is all.

Funny how many on the left/far left rail against Fox News for being the opposite of "Fair and Balanced" as they claim to be. But when you compared them to all the major networks and some of the offshoots, the media in general is way the hell far left but they try to claim their views are neutral. Give ME a break! Fox is the lone spot of ink on the blotter but appear to be the "irritant" rubbing the rest raw. Good for em!
As to Sarah Palin, personally I do not think she is going to run again. She actually has significant political capital to help steer a number of things. Even as such, the left obviously consider her a threat. If not, then why do they waste so much time and effort trying to tear her down?

I think everyone knows by now that they are not fair and balance but Fox is to the Right wingers that most of the rest of the media is to the left. They should adjust their motto to say something in the line of "Balance for the Right". The problem with the media anymore is you can't really trust what is being put out there or the silliest little thing is sensationalized. The news in Chicago always starts with the death toll for the day. Like I really give a **** if a gang banger or crack whore was found in a dumpster.
As far as Sarah Palin's capital you mention? Really? I don't see it. Not sure how the left thinks she is a threat but maybe they do. As long as she remains the butt of jokes I just don't see her as a serious candidate.

Anyways, this **could** be a move FOXNews regrets in the long-run.....We shall see though....

Cameljockey, I've read that article before and have to agree with most of it. The left doesn't want powerful women. They want women to be subservient.

That is a pretty broad assumption.

More fitting, the left does not want powerful women on the right. That is what scares the crap out of them. Any time a women on the right starts gaining attention the left does their best to tear them down. Usually using crap they would have a fit about if it was said about a women on their side.
Panther as for looks over substance, it worked for Obama, why not Palin.
Seriously Palin has more substance and experience then Obama had before the election so the left pretty much threw that argument out the window. What he has done since the election is just reinforcing that point.

Because the thread isn't titled something like "Hunk Is President"... :)
But anyways, Palin still has yet to win me over as a Presidental candidate...

Newt has his good and his bad points being more interested in the party then the voters. I am not sure I could back him wholeheartedly.

Then you should've titled the thread different...;)
Don't blame me for the title of YOUR thread.....:)
Or, please explain what you meant by naming this thread "Watching a Fox on Fox"...so I can be properly corrected... You've referred to Palin as a "Fox" in the title of this thread, so what does that mean??
