His "attorney" says that he thinks it's illegal to prevent his client from praying with others over the phone in Arabic.

Ok - show us the law that has been broken. (no law exists that specifically protects a suspect from a ban on conversing in a foreign language with others while in detention) His attorney may need some refresher courses in the UCMJ and Constitutional law.

He's complaining about a security measure chosen by the Army and has no chance of getting this changed, especially since no law or right has been broken or infringed.

but he did succeed in pissing lots of people off -
