Governor Mark Sanford: "I'll give myself a A-. I should get a high grade for finally finding my soul-mate, even if it took a few long trips to Rio to find her. The only reason I've graded myself down to the A- is that I put up with my ugly wife as long as I did."
Minority Leader John Boener: "I'll give myself an A+!! I've been able to hone my golf game by spending just over $83,000 this year jetting from outing to outing... at the expense of my PAC. I've been able to, so far, find fault with EVERYTHING this President does. I'm pretty certain I look important in front of the camera, with my golf tan, condemning everything from his health care bill to greases that nappy headed hair do of his."
Senator John McCain: "I'll give myself an A+. I'm really supposed to be President and would have been if it hadn't been for that loose-mouthed broad that was my VP candidate. The only good women are those who are heirs to fortunes... and I married one of those."
Sarah Palin: "I'll just give myself a 'You betcha'!! There is no grade good enough for my ability to nail interviews with the MSM networks. I showed 'em... You betcha! If they'd a let me be the lead name on the Repub ticket, instead of that old fart in his Depends, I'd be the first female President. You betcha! If they won't let me run as the main candidate in 2012, I'll just go over and run for President against Putin. You do know, I was the sole line of defense between America and Russia. You betcha!!"
Sling: "I'll give myself an F!! I've failed as a forum leader if all I can attract is the folks who post on Quarter Moon Saloon!!!! Now, if I could attract a few more of those smart fellers from my golf forum over here........"

We'll just have to wait and see if one of those "smart" fellows comes over to see I guess.

And we're still waiting ... no one that ever played golf was too smart in my book.

Wait - I like this! A good sense of humor is more valuable around here than oxygen on a hull-ruptured spaceship.
You go LC !! Are we not entertained ?? (throws sword and runs off. . .)

I always thought I'd be more interested in slow dancing if women had breasts on their backs. . . now, I'm pretty sure that was a bad idea !

:prop: I hope to hell my name never made the list ... thank you very much.

Take mine off too. I have never had an interest in Cow Pasture Pool. Besides every time one of those golfers hits a ball into the water it scares the fish.

Jeeeezzzz! How'd a bona fide golf nut like Sling attract all you non-golfers??? I figured with John Boener spending $83,000 so far this year on golf, every Republican in the country would want to "be like John".

There you go assuming again. A bad habit of those on the left. If we did it about you, to us you would be like the Dems running the country now, all talk but nothing constructive really happening and to dumb to know they are pissing off most people in this country.
Truth is unlike the fools in politics, most of us work for a living and have real hobbies like shooting, fishing, etc.

I didn't realize that TWO non golfers ... rated a "all you non-golfers" comment.
Oh well seeming as how you're leaning so far to the left I can understand how you honestly came about your misconception ... as half your politics are misconceptions as well.
Stick around mebbe we can make a believer out of ya yet. :prop:

Well, perhaps you've noticed that Mr. Slingblade is a multi-faceted guy!
As to Boener and his golf spending. . . try adding up the time you spend golfing, watching golf on TV, posting about golf at Shottalk, thinking about golf and talking about golf to others.
Then, multiply that times whatever your hourly income is and you'll find the amount you spent on golf might seem a bit shocking also. . .
