That $250 isn't going to cover Medicare costs that have went up. Folks on SS or Disability basically have gotten a decrease in income with the raised Medicare costs.

It's not the $250 check to Retirees, that is responsable for the Druken Sailor remark.
That's reserved for other things like the:

$900 Million to HAMAS

$4.2 Billion to community outreach programs ( ACORN )

$900 Billion Stimulus Plan to halt unemployment at 8%, it's close to 10% NOW

Quadrupling of the National Debt
