I'd love to hear what some of our non-American members who also belong to capitalist societies think about this...

That fat idiot says this stuff just because he knows it annoys you.
And you fall for it every time....

There is a lot to hate to hate about it - but it is the best we have at present and probably the best the human race can cope with.

I'll start to show some respect for this Loudmouthed Asshole, when he contributes all the profits from his Films to combat World Hunger. But he never does, he's as much a capitalist, as those he derides.

his last answer really tells a lot: he seems to see himself first and foremost as an entertainer, not a political activist.

Who is "you"....?
(Personally, I've never backed a Michael Moore film...)

Thats exactly my point. He says this stuff becuase he knows damn well that some indignant and outraged soul will do exactly what you did and bring his comments to everyone elses attention. You can't buy that kind of publicity but he's doing a good job of getting it for free.

Since when did I state that I was outraged?

Panther, you'll have to forgive vB ... I mean after all Moore is a proponent of vB's religion ... so naturally he's going to defend the fat dumb ass bastard.

vB hasn't stated he supported Michael Moore, but he does seem to be trying to squelch the discussion by shaming those he assumes do not support him into not talking about him because they are inadvertently providing him a vehicle for his message...
On the other hand, is that just a way to get him message out unopposed?

That was exactly my point - and now you've spun a metaphorical 180, I'll leave you to it.

Forgot your glasses, heh Snuffy? Or did you read vB messages too fast while having TV dinner ?

Fine, I'll not try to support you when you make a salient point, if you'd rather.
Besides, my next sentence was a metaphorical 180 again, so I have twirled a full circle for you - a metaphorical 360, if you will.
If we are not allowed to discuss things we disagree with, what the hell are we here for? The lovely camaraderie?
