Speed Racer!

Just bought this on Blu Ray and I have to say...

This movie has to be one of the most amazing cinematic spectacles I've ever witnessed!!

The colors, the fluidity, the CGI... This movie is breathtaking!!!

This movie is just visually incredible! Truly a masterpiece of cinematography!

Not to mention I actually really liked the story! I have absolutely 0 familiarity with Speed Racer the cartoon - but this movie was great!

This is a sleeper hit in my collection!

Sorry Cyber, I personally couldn't stand speed racer as a cartoon when I was a kid ... I'm sure I'll not like it as a film ...

But to be sure, I'll wait for it to come out on HBO ... or maybe FX.

Oh, this movie certainly isn't for everyone. lol

I'm not a Speed fan - but this movie was just so much FUN to watch!

I don't know how different it would look in Standard def vs HD - but in HD it's brilliant!

I was going into it thinking, "Meh, it'll be ok". I only got it to see if it was as good visually as they said it was - and it's BETTER!

I think the stupid monkey did for me, but it could have been the kid. I truely hated that cartoon.

My three year old boy loves Speed Racer. He's never seen the movie, but the cartoons are still available on the net.
