Okay I know what happened.

I swear when I first clicked the link that Panther had up it was a story of the woman who claimed abduction but ended up running to Disney world with her daughter under an assumed identity.

She's now been caught and in jail ...

I never went back to check Panther's post to see if it changed, or if it were different than what I was sure I read the first time.

My bad, I've deleted all my bad posts.

A re-tread buddy of mine in school locked-up his ready use firearm when his daughter became a toddler at the insistence of his wife.

A crack-head with a machete broke into his house at night...

...and killed his mother who started screaming, ...then maimed his father (including the loss of several fingers) who attacked the ****er bare-handed to try to protect his wife, ...and sliced the hell out of my buddy before they were finally able to subdue and break the ****er's neck.

Had they not both been combat-trained Marines, ...they probably all would have died.

Had he had his ready use weapon available...?
