I once saw an odd thing. A squirrel had been mashed absolutely flat, except for his little fuzzy head. It looked like a small pizza with a side of squirrel head !

I just thought that was odd. . .

The one that floats to the top happened in my own neighborhood.

A family up the street was having a celebration party (prom or graduation, ...don't recall).

Local kid had been drinking (and probably smoking) and ran out of liquor.

He refused to listen to sober parents and friends, ...and talked his drunk date into hopping onto the back of his bike to make a liquor run.

Took off like a rocket past the house...

We heard the sirens a few minutes later and followed them.

He had apparently dodged a car coming out of a parking lot, ...hit the median (which collapsed the forks), ...and then got tangled-up with the "right turn only" sign on the median, ...and pin-wheeled.

Between the forks, handle bars, and hat channel metal sign-post, ...they somehow both stayed with the bike.

What was left of them looked like some kind of modern art.

You couldn't really tell who or what it was, ...but because there were some duplicate parts and a mismatch of clothes, ...you knew that it was made from more than one person.
