Seems the top paid execs at Chrysler didn't like the pay cuts that came with bail out money ...

That's their privilege. Too bad the government assholes handing out the dough didn't deny it to Chrysler the first time around when they were passing it out no questions asked. That money- my money, your money- is the money Chrysler is apparently using to finance it short term capital- car sales financing needs and by definition to over pay its executives. Without the bailout they wouldn't have the $s to do both. Greed isn't the problem here. Greed has always been part of the picture. The problem is that the government agencies whose duty it should be to carefully oversee both the distribution and use of our $s are doing neither. They are totally in bed with the companies receiving the dough. There are zero accountability requirements for those giving out the $s and zero accountability requirements on the recipients. This is robbery. The taxpayers should own Chrysler.
The problem is zero accountability and zero transparency.
I stopped buying American cars 30 years ago. It pisses me off no end that my money is being taken from my pocket and put into the pockets of a company whose product I would never buy voluntarily.
