Bout time someone started to wake parents up to the reality that they have a responsibility toward their children ...

Get them off the game consoles, put their nose in a book, and make them go to bed at a decent hour .... only after the homework is done and checked by said parents.

I have to sign paperwork each night stating that my 8yr old has done all his homework...& return to his teacher

when i lived in tenn there was a woman who lived next door to me, 1 block from the school. her daughter refused to go. the county sent a letter stating that if her daughter missed any more school she (the mom)
was going to the pokey.
she started walking her daughter to the school and watching her walk in the front door. trouble was, the girl then walked right out the back. county police picked up mom after a few days of this. what was she supposed to do?
