It will probably sell more than a Ford too (since it's not a US brand).... :shark:

Do you have any idea how many trucks Ford sells? The F-Series still outsold the Camry last year. And that is with the Camry not taking a hit like most cars did after the meltdown. Even after the F-Series took a huge hit in the second half of the year, it was still the number one selling auto of 2008. Followed by the Chevy Silverado. Even the Dodge Ram made the top ten (it was #9). The only foreign "non-car" to make the top ten was the Honda CR-V at #10. (And good for that, as that is keeping a lot of jobs in America - like mine.)

Americans may be buying "foreign" cars like the Accord and Civic (also keeping a lot of jobs in America), but they still buy American trucks.

Since this is a Suzuki, (and I believe a "first" in Suzuki vs Ford in pick-up sales) we'll just have to wait and see.

they claim it is sold with the intention of folks hauling around their other suzuki products, such as motorcycles. the one i had, equivelant to the current boulevard c90t, was well over 8' long. i don't see it getting hauled in the bed of that truck. if i had to trailer it, there are plenty of cars and light trucks out there capable of doing the job.
